Police say 13 year old sexually assaulted at Cambridge bus stop

Waterloo Regional Police Service's Special Victims Unit has arrested a 58-year-old man in connection to a sexual assault of a 13-year-old female at a bus stop.

Police say that on Saturday at approximately 5:20 p.m., officers attended the area of Cedar Street and Osborne Street in Cambridge for a reported sexual assault.

A 13-year-old girl was waiting for a bus when she was allegedly sexually assaulted.

As a result of the investigation, a 58-year-old Cambridge man was arrested and charged with sexual assault, sexual interference, invitation to sexual touching and mischief under $5,000.

The man was held in custody for a bail hearing.
