Police seek help finding man in connection with criminal probe

Waterloo Regional Police are seeking the public's assistance in locating a male in connection to a criminal investigation.

Dylon Kieffer, 25, was released from custody and is bound to comply with the terms provided in his judicial release order. Kieffer is subject to wear a GPS monitoring device and an investigation determined that the GPS device was removed.

He is currently wanted on the strength of a warrant for failure to comply with judicial release order (three counts). He is believed to be in the Kitchener area. Kieffer is considered dangerous. If seen, please do not approach him but call 911 immediately.

 Kieffer is charged with the following:

  • Theft of motor vehicle
  • Operation while impaired
  • Dangerous operation
  • Assault with a weapon
  • Flight from police
  • Operation of a vehicle while prohibited
  • Possession of stolen property over $5,000
  • Possession of stolen property under $5,000
  • Possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose (two counts)
  • Possession for the purpose of trafficking (three counts)
  • Breach of probation (seven counts)
