Waterloo Regional Police continue to investigate an overnight break-in at a residence in Cambridge.
On May 17, 2022 at approximately 4:15 a.m., police received a report of a break and enter at a home in the area of Grand Avenue South and Concession Street in Galt.
An unknown suspect gained entry into the home, stole a set of motor vehicle keys and fled with the motor vehicle. The suspect then drove through the ground-level parking garage door.
Through investigation, police were able to recover the vehicle, however, the suspect is still outstanding.
The suspect is described as a white male with a slim build, in his mid-20s and has short blonde hair. The male was last seen wearing an orange construction jacket.
The investigation is ongoing.
