A single-vehicle crash early this morning resulted in serious injuries for the young driver and passenger.
Waterloo regional police’s traffic services unit said around 2:35 a.m., emergency services responded to reports of a single motor vehicle collision at the intersection of Pinnacle Drive and Thomas Slee Drive in south Kitchener.
The driver, a 25-year-old male and the passenger, a 23-year-old male, were both transported to an out-of-region hospital with serious injuries.
The intersection was closed until noon for the investigation.
The investigation is ongoing.
