The driver of a tractor trailer has been charged after a rollover on the eastbound 401 through Cambridge.
OPP Sergeant Kerry Schmidt said it happened around 6:00 p.m. Thursday on the highway, approaching the ramp to Franklin Boulevard.
"There was extensive damage to the highway, as well as a fuel spill into the ditch," he said.
The middle and right lane of the 401 were blocked as a result, along with the ramp to Franklin.
Schmidt said clean up is continuing, and the middle lane opened up Friday morning.
However, the right lane and the ramp to Franklin could be shut down to traffic until possibly Friday afternoon.
