Two arrested after break-and-enter at Cambridge construction site

Two male suspects fled a construction site area and were located a short distance away and placed under arrest, a news release said

Waterloo Regional Police have charged two males in connection to a break-and-enter investigation at a Cambridge construction site. On Feb. 8, at approximately 11:50 p.m., police responded to the area of Hespeler Road and Munch Avenue. Two male suspects fled a construction site area and were located a short distance away and placed under arrest, a news release said

As a result of the investigation, a 35-year-old male and a 50-year-old male, both from Cambridge, were charged with:

  • Break-and-enter
  • Possession of break-in tools
  • Trespass at night

The 35-year-old male was also arrested on the strength of two warrants. Both were held for a bail hearing.
