Two Cambridge pedestrians taken to Hamilton hospital after being struck by vehicle

Officers from the Waterloo Regional Police Service’s Traffic Services Unit are investigating following a collision involving two pedestrians in Cambridge.

The incident occurred on Sunday evening as two pedestrians, a 50-year old male and a child, were struck by a vehicle at the intersection of Ainslie Street North and Main Street.

According to police, those pedestrians were transported to a Hamilton hospital with undetermined injuries. The 21-year-old driver of the involved vehicle was not injured.

As a result of that ongoing investigation, Ainslie Street North was closed for approximately two hours, with assistance from WRPS Remote Piloted Vehicle unit’s police drones.
