Two drivers face charges after collision in Cambridge

The Waterloo Regional Police Service's Traffic Services Unit has charged two drivers after a collision investigation in Cambridge. 

On March 18, 2022, at approximately 5:15 p.m., emergency services responded to a two-vehicle collision on Bishop Street North, near Franklin Boulevard. 

The driver of a Lexus SUV conducted a u-turn into the path of a Cadillac, resulting in a collision between the two vehicles.

One driver was transported to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. 

As a result of the investigation, a 69-year-old Cambridge male was charged with unsafe move. A 27-year-old Cambridge male was charged with driving a motor vehicle without a license and failing to wear a seatbelt.

Bishop Street North was closed for approximately two hours while police investigated.
