Cambridge Career Connections is offering paid courses for teens looking for summer work.

An initiative to help high school students find work and get paid doing it aims to get students working this summer break. 

Cambridge Career Connections at 40 Ainslie St. S is offering high school students an opportunity to take paid courses to help them find part-time or summer work. 

Three workshops offered virtually starting on March 13, will train and give students information on how to find and keep a job. The program will also connect employers with potential hires from the program. 

Some of examples of jobs that a student could get are: life guard, camp counsellor, cook, customer service rep, general labourer, store associate and more.

Eligible candidates for the program must be between 15-18 years-old and be currently attending and returning to school. 

Cambridge Career Connections said that spots fill quickly and anyone interested are asked to call 519-622-0815 ext 223.
