The Cambridge Food Bank has announced a list of activities kids can take part in over March Break.

With February coming to a close next week and March Break fast approaching, the Cambridge Food Bank is hoping to help parents keep their children busy.

Beginning March 11, the food bank is running activities to engage and educate students.

Daily riddles and recipes will be posted to its Instagram page @cambyouthfb throughout the week. For those who don't have Instagram, the riddles can be found on its March Break activities for children and youth events page on Facebook.

A week-long scavenger hunt will commence on March 11 with prizes to be won.

Educational workshops and entertaining games are also available both in-person and virtually.

Activities are designed to form community connections and raise awareness around the issue of food insecurity.

Participants are encouraged to upload photos and tag the Cambridge Food Bank.

The cost to participate is free but registration is required.
