ClimateActionWR, a group of local organizations and community members focused on climate change mitigation, is putting on a workshop at the Cambridge Centre for the Arts on Nov. 14 at 7 p.m. to spur conversation around how residents can impact the environment through food choices.

"Let's Talk About Food" features a variety of guest speakers that will discuss topics such as the connection between food systems and climate change, challenges the community faces with sustainable food choices, climate change, food equity and Indigenous communities, the connection between people and creating resilient food systems and how to make climate smart food choices.

The session is being run in a hybrid model. As people register, they can choose to attend in-person or virtually.

The in-person option is being held in the Multipurpose Room at 60 Dickson St. Light refreshments are provided.
