Every January the Cambridge Chamber of Commerce hosts a Salute to Women in Business lunch to celebrate excellence in the workforce.
In tandem with the upcoming celebration, a silent auction will be running with proceeds being raised for breast reconstruction services at Cambridge Memorial Hospital.
In preparation, the chamber is turning to the community in search of items for the auction.
The money generated will help ensure the hospital has the tools necessary to allow patients to access surgery locally and provide specialized care closer to home.
"Your contribution will go a long way in supporting this year’s silent auction and will show your commitment and continued support for the Cambridge community," the chamber said on its website.
With 100 per cent of the proceeds being donated, the chamber is hoping to reach its fundraising goal of $11,000.
Anyone interested in donating an item can fill out the silent auction form.
