Golfers will be teeing off in support of youth in the region living with disabilities on Aug. 8.
Chips and Giggles is a one-day golf event that will see proceeds donated to the KidsAbility Foundation.
KidsAbility provides life-changing therapy and rehabilitative services to over 17,000 children and youth in Waterloo Region and Guelph Wellington.
The organization helps them reach their communication, social, physical and behavioural goals each year through a mix of virtual and in-person sessions.
Donations help fund life-changing therapy, innovative programs and the latest technology.
Chips and Giggles is meant to be fun and just for laughs. Open to all skill levels, teams are encouraged to dress to impress with prizes for the best outfits.
The tournament will be held at Badlands Golf Course in Waterloo with shotgun starts at 10 a.m., 1 p.m. and 3 p.m.
