Three and a half weeks after the Mill Race Park Amphitheatre was closed to the public to fix up the community space, the renovations are complete.
New timber seats and stairs have been installed and the new look amphitheatre is officially back open.
The seating area and stairs had been deteriorating, prompting the work.
The work was approved by council as part of the 2023 capital budget process and was anticipated to be completed by the end of November 2023 dependent on weather conditions.
The Oct. 25 reopening is five weeks ahead of schedule.
