Input can be given through a survey.

The City of Cambridge is in the process of reviewing its noise bylaw and seeks assistance from the community to guide decision making.

The noise bylaw sets restrictions on the types of noise permitted within the city boundary, when noise is allowed and information on noise exemption permits.

Through a five minute online survey, residents can give their input.

The information collected will be used to help city staff develop recommendations for improvement of the bylaw, while ensuring Cambridge remains a safe, inclusive and enjoyable place for everyone.

In addition to the survey, people can learn more at two in-person community engagement open houses on Nov. 23 at city hall in the Bowman Room from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. and Nov. 30 at the W.G. Johnson Centre in the activities room from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.

The survey closes on Dec. 15.
