Alley Bilodeau, Rachel Kuipery, Ashley King, Kennedy Thompson, and Sara Morrison star in Five Women Wearing the Same Dress at the Cambridge Arts Theatre.

Local theatre lovers have three more opportunities to catch the Cambridge Community Players' latest production from first-time director, 24-year-old Heather Firlotte.

Described as "hilarious and thought-provoking," Alan Ball's dramatic comedy Five Women Wearing The Same Dress is playing at the Cambridge Arts Theatre on Water Street through Jan. 29.

The play centres on five bridesmaids who find themselves hiding together in an upstairs bedroom, hoping to escape the wedding reception of a bride that - they soon realize - none of them really like. As the afternoon wears on, these five very different women talk, laugh, argue, cry, console one another, and slowly become friends; in this "wickedly funny, irreverent and touching celebration of the women’s spirit."

The cast features Alley Bilodeau, Rachel Kuipery, Ashley King, Kennedy Thompson, Sara Morrison, and Arthur G. Brook.

Ticket prices range from $20-$25 and can be purchased by visiting https://www.cambridgecommunityplayers.com/ or by calling the box office at 519-623-4070.
