Waterloo regional police remain on the scene of a single-vehicle collision involving a tractor trailer near the roundabout intersection of McQueen Shaver Boulevard and Franklin Boulevard in south Cambridge.
Police said the truck was carrying gravel when it struck a curb. The weight of the gravel shifted and the truck ended up on its side.
The accident happened around 1:30 Wednesday afternoon.
Police said they expect the road to remain closed for at least another hour as a road crew from the region works to clean up spilled hydraulic fluid.
Tow trucks are using chains to get the truck back on its wheels.
Police are asking drivers to avoid the area.
