A celebration of creativity is returning to the Idea Exchange this month with three weeks of colour, creativity, and community during the annual Culture Days event.
Idea Exchange and Cambridge Art Galleries will be hosting free in-person and online events from Sept. 23 to Oct. 16, including workshops for makers, exhibitions, author talks, and more.
Among the events coming to local libraries for Culture Days is a chance to discuss award-winning author David A. Robertson's latest book, The Theory of Crows, on Sept. 21, and on Sept. 29, kids can meet author Kristi White and characters Jay and Gizmo from The Adventures of Jay and Gizmo.
On Oct. 13, local author Tanis MacDonald will read from and discusses her new book Straggle: Adventures in Walking While Female.
And on Oct. 14, the Idea Exchange is bringing back its popular Pumpkin Carving Contest with three age categories, including adults.
More events are in the works.
