Autism service dogs in training are taking up yoga for a day to help raise money for the cause.
The Doggie Yoga Fundraiser comes to Cambridge Oct. 14 in support of Autism Dog Services, which places dogs with children offering "safety, companionship and independence," according to a news release.
Local certified yoga instructor Gwyn Rafuse-Smith has volunteered her time for the event at Hespeler Scout House, saying in the release all levels of participants are encouraged to attend. They will be surrounded by service dogs in training during the session.
