Cambridge Wedding Week will showcase what Downtown Cambridge has to offer in terms of venues, settings and services.

Historic Galt will host its inaugural Cambridge Wedding Week (CWW) from March 6 to 12 with an event series focused on "creating exceptional, intimate experiences for guests to connect with wedding professionals to learn about their products and services in an immersive experience like no other."

"The creation of Cambridge Wedding Week is based on what we see developing around our downtown. We have top-tier wedding services set against one of the most beautiful historic downtowns," said Brian Kennedy, executive director of the Downtown Cambridge BIA, in a press release.

"Cambridge Wedding Week 2023 is our way to tie these incredible offerings together to present something truly spectacular to put Cambridge on the map as a premier wedding destination now and in years to come."

Looking to make Cambridge a premier wedding destination, CWW has secured some of the area's most well-known venues to host events, including the Cambridge Mill, Langdon Hall, Tapestry Hall, and several other more intimate venues like Park Hill Studios, Suite 3 and Farm League Brewing.

Businesses around the downtown are also signing on to provide in-kind products and services.

"Our dreamy cityscape is now home to three newly opened bridal boutiques and the opening of the region's most prominent wedding venue, Tapestry Hall, within a 10-minute drive of the distinguished Langdon Hall estate. We also have Cambridge Mill, with a superior track record for weddings downtown," Kennedy said.

"In addition to several other intimate wedding spaces, we have countless bakeries, gift shops, an abundance of salons and spas that service the wedding industry and a trove of locations to capture the perfect engagement and wedding photos. Layer this with our award-winning graphic designers, photographers, florists, musicians, event planners, officiants and other industry professionals - we have the perfect recipe and quality ingredients for weddings."

The Downtown Cambridge BIA enlisted the services of professional graphic designer, Sara Chiodo Design, to create the brand identity and logo for Cambridge Wedding Week.

"With the branding complete, we have started developing a great line-up of events for the week, including immersive bridal and floral showcases, unique engagement photoshoot opportunities, intimate shopping experiences, an exclusive industry mixer night and a wedding party to close the week, unlike any other," Kennedy added.

Kennedy said the official line-up of events for Cambridge Wedding Week will be announced shortly on the event's website and on Instagram at @cambridgeweddingweek
