NEWS RELEASE
GRASSROOTS RESPONSE
**********************
Since 2022, Grassroots Response to the Ukrainian Crisis has been actively aiding Ukrainians, providing them with guest houses in Cambridge and eight other cities. Currently, in Cambridge, over 10 families and individuals reside on 12 Tannery Street, with around 30 people temporarily housed in a hotel.

We would like to express our gratitude to The Melissa Francis Team - real estate agency for inviting Ukrainians from the Cambridge guest house to the holiday on the central square. Your invitation to the "Hespeler Village Easter Egg Hunt" event in collaboration with Hespeler BIA means a lot to them. Your hospitality made them feel at home. Another example of warmth and generosity was demonstrated by a Cambridge sewing group DANCING STITCHES, which donated dozens of a whole bag of handmade afghans and blankets.

We urge the Cambridge community to continue their support for Ukrainian refugees. Together, we can create an atmosphere of warmth and protection, giving these people hope for a better future.

More information on volunteering and donations can be found on our website or just welcome you to the Cambridge guest house located at 12 Tannery Street East.
