Individuals in need of a bicycle can join a list to get one through the Hespeler Village Neighbourhood Association.

The Hespeler Village Neighbourhood Association is hoping to make getting around a little easier.

Through a partnership with Jacob Hespeler Secondary School, the neighbourhood association is working to provide refurbished, used bicycles to members of the community who may need one.

Those who don't already have a bicycle, or know someone who doesn't, can fill out an online survey to be added to the list.

Questions in the survey include whether the bike is for an adult, youth or child, if it needs to be a male, female or unisex model and any other details from wheel size in inches to brake preference.

The HVNA will contact individuals if a bike can be found that suits their needs.
