Idea Exchange offers drop-in programs for March Break

Different activities will be available at libraries and galleries around the city

March Break is a great chance to explore the libraries and galleries of Cambridge.

From toddlers to teens, the week is full of free programs for all ages, featuring drop-in activities, special shows, games, art-making, and more.

Drop-in programs for all ages are available at each location. There will be new and exciting activity stations available throughout the day, March 13 to 17.

March Break program highlights

  • Interactive fun for all abilities is available during Sensory Jamboree at Queen’s Square Saturday, March 11 (10 a.m. to 5 pm) and Sunday, March 12 (1 p.m. to 5 p.m.)
  • Sing and dance along with Mr. J and the Groovy Gang at Queen’s Square on Tuesday, March 14 (6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.) and Preston on Friday, March 17 (10 a.m. to 11 a.m.) – Registration is required for these performances
  • Show off your racing skills during the Mario Kart Tournament at Hespeler on Wednesday, March 15 (2 p.m. to 3 p.m.)
  • Teens take centre stage with Idea Exchange Shakespearean Players at Preston on Monday, March 13 (6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.) and Intro to Improv led by Ben Gorodetsky at Clemens Mill on Saturday, March 18 (2 p.m. to 4 p.m.) – Registration is required
  • Create unique artwork with Cambridge Art Galleries from Monday to Friday (1 p.m. to 4 p.m.) in the lobby of Queen’s Square during Creative Creations.
