Jacob Hespeler Secondary School is closed Monday.
It's due to flooding in a number of classrooms over the weekend.
The Waterloo Region District School Board says staff and contractors were at the school throughout the weekend and are working as quickly as possible to address the situation.
As Monday is the start of Semester 2, students will not have met their teachers or have been invited into their Semester 2 virtual classrooms yet. Tuesday will now be the first day of classes in Semester 2 at JHSS.
