After being closed for two days due to flooding, Jacob Hespeler Secondary School will reopen for in-person learning on Wednesday.
Over the weekend the school experienced flooding in a number of classrooms causing the closure.
Facility Services and contractors had been on site working to correct the issue and clean up.
The school is reminding students to be mindful of posted signs and teacher instructions regarding areas still undergoing restoration.
A school board spokesperson said work is ongoing to determine the extent of the damage, associated repair costs and the initial cause.
"Facility Services and contractors have been hard at work over the past few days addressing this issue, with a focus on reopening the school for student learning," said WRDSB communications officer Estefanía Brandenstein.
