The digital magazine Canada's 100 Best has named Langdon Hall the fifth best restaurant in the country in its 2024 list of the 100 best restaurants.
Billed as the definitive guide to Canada’s vibrant culinary scene, Canada's 100 Best calls Langdon Hall "one of Ontario’s most elegant rural retreats" and says head chef Jason Bangerter's "terroir-driven cuisine" using local ingredients in presentations that are over the top dramatic.
"For example, locally caught trout is juniper-smoked and served on a steaming rock in a nest of decorative juniper and pine."
"Wine pairings, directed by Faye MacLachlan, are exceptionally well executed, facilitated by the vast cellar."
