The Waterloo Region District School Board has announced its upcoming assistive technology training schedule for families and caregivers.
The three-part series, which runs until May 2, deals with using digital tools in different languages to support student needs.
Part One: Creating Multiple Profiles in Read&Write
Students can create and save profiles in Google Read&Write when learning in different languages.
- April 19 from 12 p.m. to 12:30 p.m. on Google Meet
Part Two: Using Read&Write for Translation in Google Docs
Make information and assignments accessible in different languages with translation tools.
- April 4 from 12:30 p.m. to 1 p.m. on Google Meet
- April 24 from 11:30 a.m. to 12 p.m. on Google Meet
Part Three: Using Read&Write for Translation on Websites
Use Google Read&Write tools on a website to help with translating information.

- May 2, 2024 from 12:30 p.m. to 1 p.m. on Google Meet
