Assistive technology training for families and caregivers is being put on by the Waterloo Region District School board over the next six weeks.

The Waterloo Region District School Board has announced its upcoming assistive technology training schedule for families and caregivers.

The three-part series, which runs until May 2, deals with using digital tools in different languages to support student needs.

Part One: Creating Multiple Profiles in Read&Write

Students can create and save profiles in Google Read&Write when learning in different languages.

Part Two: Using Read&Write for Translation in Google Docs

Make information and assignments accessible in different languages with translation tools.

Part Three: Using Read&Write for Translation on Websites

Use Google Read&Write tools on a website to help with translating information.
