Movies will be played on the Gaslight District screen every second Tuesday until Halloween.

The Gaslight District continues to add to its list of events this summer.

Outdoor movie viewings are coming back to the city's public square.

Beginning May 14 and running until Halloween, residents can pull up a chair every second Tuesday night at 7 p.m. to watch a free film.

The first movie being shown is Disney/Pixar's Elemental.

On May 28, Trolls Band Together hits the big screen.

Showings will happen rain or shine.

Movie buffs can also watch short films from the Grand River Film Festival on May 11 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.

The day will begin with international shorts at 11 a.m., followed by Canadian shorts at 11:54 a.m. and wrapping up with documentaries at 12:54 p.m.

Residents are encouraged to bring folding chairs and blankets or enjoy the viewing from a patio.
