A variety of items are up for auction in support of the Toronto Cat Rescue Kitchener-Waterloo chapter.

Humans aren’t the only ones in need this holiday season.

The Toronto Cat Rescue Kitchener-Waterloo chapter is running a Pawliday online auction to raise funds for homeless cats in the region.

Animal products, home decor, gift cards and clothing are all up for grabs.

Every dollar generated goes towards vetting, feeding and caring for stray and homeless cats in Cambridge, Kitchener, Waterloo and the surrounding areas.

The rescue is a no-kill, non-profit organization that supports cats from shelters, barns, the streets, overcrowding situations and from owners who can no longer care for their animal.

The organization relies on volunteers and has adoption centres set up in PetSmart locations across the region.

So far the auction has raised $1,054. It closes on Nov. 24 at 8 p.m.
