Performers, artists invited to take part in Cambridge Celebration of the Arts

Civic square will be alive with music an art on June 14 as the city celebrates the creative spirit.

The City of Cambridge is accepting applications for its largest art festival, Cambridge Celebration of the Arts, taking place on Friday, June 14.

Applications from a wide variety of artists are encouraged and can be completed by visiting cambridge.ca/cca before the deadline of Friday, April 12, 2024.

There is no fee for artists to apply or take part in the festival.

A panel of jurors will review all applications and those selected to participate will be contacted and receive an honorarium. The full line-up of selected artists will be shared on our website in May.

Opportunities are also available for local businesses to participate through sponsorship or for artisans, crafters, and makers to purchase vendor space.

Cambridge Celebration of the Arts is a free, art festival that takes place each year from 5-10 p.m. in and around Cambridge City Hall.

In 2023, more than 5,000 people attended the festival which featured 40 professional artists who shared their talents with our community.

Part of the festival is an awards ceremony that includes a Juror’s Choice Award and People’s Choice Award. The public will have a chance to vote for their favourite artist in the category of People’s Choice Award at the event.
