A 23-year old Cambridge woman has died after being struck by a vehicle while crossing Pinebush Road at Struck Court Friday morning.
WRPS’ Traffic Services Unit and emergency services were called to the collision at 6:38 a.m.
The pedestrian was initially transported to local hospital before being air lifted to an out-of-region hospital where she succumbed to her injuries
The road was closed for several hours for the police investigation.
The investigation is ongoing and charges are anticipated. Anyone who witnessed the collision or has dashcam footage is encouraged to call police at 519-570-9777.
