Police lay 12 charges in two hours on Franklin Boulevard

The WRPS is putting a focus on targeting speeding and aggressive driving.

The Waterloo Regional Police Service is warning motorists to slow down.

Members of the Traffic Services Unit laid a total of 12 charges in a two-hour time frame on Feb. 8 along Franklin Boulevard as part of proactive enforcement.

Eight of the charges were for speeding.

The service says it's continuing to conduct traffic enforcement that targets speeding and aggressive driving in the community.
