Region seeks input on Franklin Boulevard preliminary design until May 12

A pedestrian tunnel under Franklin Boulevard is proposed with the preferred option for adding roundabouts to the Saginaw/Elgin and Franklin Boulevard intersection near St. Benedict Catholic Secondary School.

The Region of Waterloo is seeking public feedback to a preliminary design the proposes changes to Franklin Boulevard near St. Benedict Catholic Secondary School.

The project team has established a preferred option that includes roundabouts at two intersections, and a pedestrian pathway that will run under Franklin Boulevard.

The proposed plan also includes a planned City of Cambridge roundabout at Saginaw Parkway and Green Vista Drive.
