Delve into historical tales of mischief, mystery, mayhem and murder in a tour of four local cemeteries. Climb Waterloo Pioneers Memorial Tower, go underground to explore Kitchener’s Cold War Bunker, and step inside Forest Hill’s 1960 gem the ‘Home of Enchantment’. Tour North House, a solar-powered home and working model of green technology. Learn about the beauty of groundwater in an episode about the 1899 William Street Pumping Station. See Hospice Waterloo Region’s new state-of-the-art facility and hear about the unexpected joy of working within its walls. Get to know Levi Carroll and the 1820 Log Schoolhouse he inhabited for more than 50 years.
