The Business and Education Partnership of Waterloo Region is welcoming students, caregivers and educators to the Explore Your Future career expo on May 1 at Tapestry Hall from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m.

With over 50 exhibitors on hand, students can learn about the many post-secondary and career options available to them after high school.

Colleges, universities and employers in sectors such as construction, advanced manufacturing, health care, technology, business and arts will be available to answer questions from students and their families.

Community agencies with information on employment, volunteering or starting a business are also scheduled to be at the expo, along with representatives from the Waterloo Region District School Board and Waterloo Catholic District School Board.

Details on apprenticeships and exploring personal interests when it comes career choices can be obtained.

The BEPWR aims to assist young people in building their future through preparing them for educational opportunities and the world of work.

The expo is free to the public but registration can be completed to avoid lineups and for a chance to win prizes.
