Preston Heights and Langs have partnered to put on a charity golf tournament in support of community programming.

A long winter is winding down and the weather is almost right to hit the links.

The Preston Heights Community Centre, in partnership with Langs, has opened registration for its charity golf tournament taking place in June.

The Teeing Off for Youth golf tournament is scheduled for June 6 at the Grand Valley Golf and Country Club.

All proceeds from the day benefit youth programs at the two local organizations.

Sponsorship packages are available and silent auctions items are also being accepted.

The cost to register is $160 and includes lunch and a cart.

Preston Heights is a not-for-profit community group that provides programs and services to families, children, teens and adults within its neighbourhood.

Langs works to ensure every resident has access to health, wellness and community support.

Registration for the tournament can be done here.
