Toronto homicide victim identified as Cambridge man

A Cambridge man has been identified as the victim of a homicide early Saturday morning at a plaza in North York.

Toronto Police said in a release officers responded to 3585 Keele St., just north of Sheppard Avenue at around 1:45 a.m., for reports of gunfire.

A male victim was found in a vehicle suffering from multiple gunshot wounds and was pronounced dead at the scene. 

Police say 27-year-old Randy Nguyen has been identified as the victim. 

The homicide unit of Toronto Police have taken over the investigation. 

No other details have been released.
