Weather advisory issued for:
   Guelph - Erin - Southern Wellington County, Ont. 
   Kitchener - Cambridge - Region of Waterloo, Ont. 

Current details:
Winter weather travel advisory in effect for tonight.

Hazards:
Lake effect snow bands producing local accumulations of 5 to 10 cm.
Peak snowfall rates of 2 to 3 cm per hour.
Reduced visibility in heavy snow and blowing snow.

Timing:
This evening into Sunday morning.

Discussion:
Lake effect snow bands from Lake Huron are forecast to move into the area this evening.

Motorists should expect hazardous winter driving conditions and adjust travel plans accordingly.

Prepare for quickly changing and deteriorating travel conditions. If visibility is reduced while driving, slow down, watch for tail lights ahead and be prepared to stop.
