Friday, April 19

Repeating Granadas

Queen's Square Idea Exchange - 1 North Square, all day

Head to Galt for the newest art installation curated by Karly Boileau.

Undergrowth - Mere Phantoms

Preston Idea Exchange - 435 King St. E, all day

The latest art exhibition curated by Karly Boileau will be on display until June 22.

Connections 50+

Queen's Square Idea Exchange - 1 North Square, 10:30 a.m. - 11:30 a.m.

Come together with other adults for concerts, crafting, chats and more.

Cambridge Food Tour

Galt, 2 p.m. - 3 p.m.

Sample food at six different restaurants and learn about the history of the core. Tickets are $89.50 and can be purchased here.

Earth Day at the Market

Cambridge Farmers' Market - 40 Dickson St., 7 a.m. - 1 p.m.

Kids can make their own chia pet and adults can browse the various vendors.

Community Clean Up with Cambridge City Green

Throughout the city, 9:30 a.m. - 12 p.m.

Grab supplies from any Idea Exchange location and head out to clean up the neighbourhood.

McDougall Cottage Soup and Stroll Series - “The Architecture of Galt”

McDougall Cottage Historic Site - 89 Grand Ave, 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. or 1 p.m. - 3 p.m.

Take a walk through Galt and learn about the history of its architecture. The day closes with a warm bowl of Scotch Broth soup inside the cottage. Tickets are $39.55 and can be purchased here.

Earth Day at Preston

Preston Idea Exchange - 435 King St. E, 10 a.m. - 2 p.m.

Recognize Earth Day with green activities, crafts and seeds to take home.

Girl Guide Fundraiser - E-waste and Bottle Collection

Beer Store - 150 Holiday Inn Drive, 10 a.m. - 4 p.m.

Stop by the beer store and drop off your electronics and bottles to help the girl guides.
