The 42nd edition of the Hespeler Santa Claus Parade begins Saturday at 12 p.m.

Santa Claus will be busy in Cambridge this weekend with the 42nd Hespeler parade, a visit to the Cambridge Centre Mall and a party at the Tapestry Hall. Lights, music and a farmers’ market round out the list of events happening around the city.

Friday, Dec. 2

Winter Ice and Lights

615 King Street E, 8 a.m.

Residents can enjoy an interactive light set-up in Central Park in Preston. The displays will be up until Jan. 1.

Music and Lights in the Village

5 & 11 11 Tannery St E, 7 p.m. - 10 p.m.

Hespeler Village will be celebrating the holidays with lights, a tree lighting, food, musical entertainment, crafts and more.

Old Post Office Digital Holiday Light Show

12 Water St S, 8 p.m. - 9:30 p.m.

A special holiday light show will be projected on the facade of the Old Post Office. Shows begin every half hour and residents can tune into 92.5 on their radio to listen to choreographed music.

 

Saturday, Dec. 3

Cambridge Farmers' Market

40 Dickson St., 7 a.m. - 1 p.m.

A central community food hub, the market features 26 year round vendors and 30 seasonal vendors.

42nd Hespeler Santa Claus Parade

12 p.m.

Santa Claus passes through Hespeler as part of the annual parade.

Old Post Office Digital Holiday Light Show

12 Water St S, 8 p.m. - 9:30 p.m.

 

Sunday, Dec. 4

Sensitive Santa

355 Hespeler Rd, 9 a.m. - 11 a.m.

A visit with Santa for children with social, emotional, accessible and behavioural needs. The environment has lower lighting and a quieter surrounding.

Santa’s Dance Party

74 Grand Ave S, 10 a.m.

Santa will be at the Tapestry Hall to help kick off the holiday season. Hot cocoa, letter writing, pictures, games, dancing, candy and more are all part of the festivities. Visit https://www.ticketscene.ca/events/42649 for tickets.
