This art exhibition, curated by Sarah-Tai Black and featuring Katrina Coombs, Nnenna Okore and Chason Yeboah, brings together Black artists and celebrates their work.

Preston Book Club

This group meets monthly to discuss a set title. The book for March is And Then there Were Nuns by Jane Christmas

A central community food hub, the market features 26 year round vendors and 30 seasonal vendors.

The Relative Minors children’s concert

St. James Anglican Church - 520 Ellis Rd, 10 a.m.

Rock out with the popular children’s band. Tickets are $5 or pay what you can. The fun includes door prizes and raffle items.

Introduction to 3D Printing

Old Post Office Idea Exchange - 12 Water St. S, 10:30 a.m. - 11:30 a.m.

A class for teens and adults that explores the basics of 3D printing.

Wave Maker Brewery 4th anniversary party

Come view a collection of small oil on board portraits by Mark Crofton Bell. Paintings of his mother during the final years of her life shine a light on the process of aging, physical and mental deterioration, and death. Light snacks and refreshments will be available.

Fill a Bag of Fashion

For just $5 residents can fill a grocery store sized bag with clothes. Children’s items are free. The clothes are donated by Plato’s Closet and proceeds go towards the building of the Freedom Centre in Preston.
