Weather advisory issued for:

  • Listowel - Milverton - Northern Perth County, Ont. 
  • Stratford - Mitchell - Southern Perth County, Ont. 
  • Waterloo - Wellington, Ont.
  • Kitchener - Cambridge - Region of Waterloo, Ont. 

Current details:
Winter weather travel advisory in effect for today.

Hazards:
Locally heavy snowfall with total accumulations near 5 cm.
Reduced visibility at times in heavy snow and blowing snow.

Timing:
Today. Easing this afternoon.

Discussion:
Periods of snow, at times heavy, can be expected today. This in combination with the rain last night and falling temperatures today will likely result in icy conditions on roads and walkways.

Travel may be hazardous due to sudden changes in the weather.

Be prepared to adjust your driving with changing road conditions. Take extra care when walking or driving in affected areas.
