WRDSB continues assistive technology training for parents

Three training sessions will be offered over the final three weeks of May.

The Assistive Technology Team at the Waterloo Region District School Board will be offering a three part training series throughout the month of May to help parents and caregivers better support their children with reading and organization over the summer.

A Three Part Learning Series

Part One: Reading with Google Read&Write

What: This session will teach about the Google Read&Write tools that can help students with reading on websites.

When: Wednesday, May 17 from 12 to 12:30 p.m.

Part Two: Organization

What: Learn about digital tools that can help students stay organized 

When: Thursday, May 25 from 12:30 p.m. to 1 p.m. 

Where: Join the Google Meet

Part Three: Reading with OrbitNote PDF Editor

What: OrbitNote can help students better read PDFs

When: Tuesday, May 30 from 11:30 a.m. to 12 p.m. 

Where: Join the Google Meet
