Outfielder Riley Silva and the University of Nebraska baseball team proved it's not about how you start, but how you finish.
After dropping Game 1 of the Big Ten Conference tournament, the Huskers reeled off five straight victories to claim their first ever Big Ten championship.
Silva had a hit, four walks and was hit by three pitches in the six games.
After downing Penn State in the final, the Huskers now head to Oklahoma for the Stillwater Regional, where they'll be met by the host Oklahoma State Cowboys, Florida Gators and Niagara Purple Eagles.
Silva, a Barton Community College transfer, has had a strong first season in Lincoln.
He's started 57 of the team's 59 games and is hitting .270. Arguably his best asset is his speed, with 37 stolen bases in 39 attempts.
Defensively, he owns a .994 fielding percentage while primarily patrolling centrefield.
Nebraska takes on Florida in Game 1 on Friday.
