Hockey fans in the city will be able to get their first look at the 2023-2024 Cambridge RedHawks on Sunday.
The RedHawks open their exhibition schedule at home with a 6:30 p.m. game against the Ayr Centennials at Hespeler Memorial Arena on Aug. 13.
The game is part of a home-and-home to start preseason play, with Cambridge visiting Ayr on Aug. 19.
In total, the RedHawks will play eight exhibition games leading up to their regular season opener on Sept. 15 in Caledon against the Bombers.
Their home opener takes place the following night at 7 p.m. versus the Kitchener-Waterloo Siskins.
Three of their four exhibition games in Cambridge will be played in Hespeler, with their final home tune up at Galt Arena Gardens on Sept. 9 against St. Thomas.
Tickets for exhibition games are $5 for adults 13 and older. Children 12 and under are free with a paying adult.
