Cambridge sits in fifth place in the Greater Ontario Junior Hockey League' Midwestern Conference with a record of 17-13-3.

The Cambridge RedHawks did some roster tweaking ahead of the Greater Ontario Junior Hockey League trade deadline.

Both deals involved goaltenders.

The Redhawks acquired goalie Logan Slou from the Fort Erie Meteors for a player development fee.

Slou, a native of Oswego, Illinois, has played 15 games split between the Meteors and the Pelham Panthers. In two games with Fort Erie he posted a 2.54 goals against average and an .894 save percentage.

In Pelham, he played in 13 games with a 2-10-0 record, a 3.58 goals against average and a .917 save percentage.

The team then shipped goalie Patrick Sutherland to Pelham for a player development fee.

A product of Nobleton, Ont., Sutherland went 4-2-0 with a 2.28 goals against average and a .919 save percentage during his stint in Cambridge. He also recorded a shutout in a 4-0 win over Caledon on Nov. 17.

Along with the two trades, the team announced it has released forward Nathan Bucca.

The RedHawks return to action tonight when they travel to Ayr to take on the Centennials at the North Dumfries Community Complex. Puck drop is scheduled for 7:30 p.m.

They return home to Galt Arena Gardens on Saturday to face off against the Kitchener-Waterloo Siskins at 7 p.m.
