It may be the end of July but the Cambridge RedHawks are already eyeing their 2023-2024 opponents.
The Greater Ontario Junior Hockey League released its regular season schedule on Monday.
The RedHawks will head to the Mayfield Recreation Complex on Sept. 15 for a road game against the Caledon Bombers to begin the season.
On Sept. 16, they'll return to Galt Arena Gardens to face the Kitchener-Waterloo Siskins in their home opener.
The 50-game schedule wraps up on March 2 when the Bombers pay a visit to Cambridge.
After finishing the 2022-2023 season with a 34-8-6-2 record and in third place in the Midwestern Conference, the RedHawks defeated the Listowel Cyclones 4-1 in the the first round of the GOJHL playoffs before being swept by the Stratford Warriors in the second round.
