Cambridge native Jet Greaves continues to impress in his professional career and has been named an American Hockey League All-Star.

Cambridge goaltender Jet Greaves has had quite the season for the Cleveland Monsters of the American Hockey League.

And tonight he'll join other stars from around the league in the AHL All-Star Classic in San Jose, Calif.

Representing the North Division, it'll be the former Cambridge minor hockey product's first appearance in the game. The teams were selected by a committee of coaches.

Greaves has played in 29 games for the Monsters this season and posted a 19-9-1 record to go along with a 2.95 goals against average and .905 save percentage.

He's also appeared in a pair of games for the National Hockey League's Columbus Blue Jackets, putting together a 1-1 record, 2.52 goals against average and a .934 save percentage.

Greaves, 22, played his minor hockey in Cambridge before being drafted by the Ontario Hockey League's Barrie Colts in the third round, 56th overall in 2017. After getting passed over in the NHL draft, he signed as a free agent with the Monsters in 2021.

He made his NHL debut on April 4 of last season in Toronto against the Maple Leafs where he stopped 46 of 49 shots in a 4-2 loss. His 41 saves in a 5-2 win over the St. Louis Blue this past December earned him his first NHL victory.

In 101 games over three seasons in Cleveland he's amassed 50-37-9 record, 2.97 goals against average and a .902 save percentage.

The AHL All-Star Classic can be seen on TSN2 beginning at 9 p.m.
