Cambridge's Matt Dimaline is having quite the season for the Smith Falls Bears of the Central Canada Hockey League.
His 15 goals and 20 assists in 35 games have earned him a trip to the league's All-Star Game on Jan. 23 in Rockland, Ont., the league announced on Friday.
The 20-year-old forward will suit up for Team Robinson.
Dimaline played his minor hockey in the Cambridge Minor Hockey Association system and potted 11 goals and added 14 assists during his U16 season in 2018-2019. That same year he also skated in one game with the Cambridge RedHawks.
After spending a season at the U18 level with the Waterloo Wolves, he made the jump full time to the RedHawks in 2021-2022, scoring five times and recording 15 assists in 46 games.
He's spent the past two seasons in Smith Falls, accumulating 24 goals and 42 assists in 83 games for the Bears.
Centrally located in the Ottawa region, the CCHL serves as a developmental league with several players moving on to the NCAA level.
