Four Cambridge players were selected in the OHL draft over the weekend.

It was another successful Ontario Hockey League Priority Selection for the Cambridge Minor Hockey Association.

Four Cambridge Hawks U16 AAA players were taken in this year's draft.

Defenceman Lincoln Baker was the first off the board after the Kingston Frontenacs made him their seventh round selection, 130th overall.

Baker played in 33 games this season, scoring four goals and adding 12 assist for 16 points.

Forward Johnathon Herrington was the next Hawk selected, going in the 10th round, 199th overall to the Oshawa Generals.

Herrington found the back of the net 10 times to go along with 17 assists in 32 games during the 2023-24 season.

The final two Hawks taken won't have to travel far to meet their new teams, as forward Matthew Miller went to the Guelph Storm in the 12th round, 224th overall and forward Ryder Roberson was picked by the Kitchener Rangers with the 297th pick in the 15th round.

Miller potted 19 goals and 19 assists for 38 points in 33 games this season, while Roberson scored 11 goals and 16 assists in 31 games.

Roberson also suited up in a pair of games for the Cambridge RedHawks.

Baker, Herrington and Miller all represented Cambridge at the U16 AAA Minor Hockey Alliance of Ontario Top Prospects Game in Komoka back in January.

The Hawks wrapped up their season late last month when they lost to the York-Simcoe Express in a wild card play-in game at the OHL Cup.
